Marina Tantanozi + Silvan Schmid
Marina Tantanozi and Silvan Schmid set out in free fall in search of imaginary levels to push the boundaries of the predictable through improvisations with flutes, trumpet, amplification and effects. They explore sonic spaces where the thresholds between “electro and acoustic” are diffuse, flexible and agile, influencing and revealing something about each other. Within this whimsical narrative, one can travel through sounds that establish relationships and references, or remain static in the distortion of the here and now. The duo has been experimenting in this field for several years, meeting again and again in a wide variety of projects.
